Regarding Private Security Contractors:

The mainstream media is quick to portray them as bloodthirsty psychopaths, running amok in the deserts and killing with reckless abandon.

I know several guys that work for Blackwater. While I’m sure there are a few loonies in the ranks, like any organization, the guys I’ve met are former special ops (SEALs and Delta) and are consummate professionals. The majority of their work involves the protection of high-ranking politicians from around the globe, and it’s a high-stress, high-danger vocation. They’ve carried out thousands of missions throughout the past few years with very few collateral incidents.

And just who originally approved this policy of civilian contractors that has the left screeching and wailing? Yup, the President of the United States of America, Bill Clinton.

This article, by the New York Times, barely mentions it.
