Global warming & reliance on foreign oil

Whether you subscribe to these notions or not, this is absolutely brilliant.

Back in the good old days of Univac computers, this was the general sentitment:

“Computers in the future may weigh no more than 1.5 tons.” — Popular Mechanics, forecasting the relentless march of science, 1949.

And now, we have computers in our wristwatches.

Technology marches forward and the internal combustion engine as we know it will soon go the way of the Dodo.

  1. Isnt this the car that isnt safe to drive in the US because it cant pass any crash tests? I thought I saw something about this car a couple of weeks ago.

    Absolutely awesome idea though.

    I actually gave this idea a fair amount of thought last week while on vacation… (Hint, hint, the Louisa field artillery battery might be called back up for some drills…)
