If you insist, I…
am a husband and father of three boys, and work as a filmmaker, author and entrepreneur. I’m also a veteran of the United States Navy, with four years of active duty and three years of reserve duty in the books.
My film projects include MURPH: The Protector, which is now in contention for the Oscar in several categories, and Ride for Lance, a tribute to fallen Navy SEAL Lance Vacarro. I attended NYU Film School, and worked on dozens of big Hollywood films before launching my company in 1998.
I’m the author of The New Dad’s Survival Guide (Little, Brown and Company) and co-author of Battle Ready: Memoir of a SEAL Warrior Medic (St. Martin’s Press.) I’ve written for several national and regional publications on topics ranging from veterans’ issues to fatherhood to the current state of the entertainment industry.
My entrepreneurial pursuits include digital content development and real estate investment, and I’ve spoken at major corporations and universities around the country. I’ve been a guest of Fox and Friends, NBC, CBS, PBS and dozens of radio stations from coast to coast.
I work to live, and spend my free time coaching soccer and sailing with my wife and three sons. I also volunteer for various veterans’ and faith-based organizations.
Hope that clears things up!
